Santa Parade

Devonport hosts a varied programme of community, cultural and family events throughout the year. Regular markets bring local food, crafts and small businesses to the village, while The Vic Theatre and local arts venues present films, performances, exhibitions and workshops. Seasonal celebrations include Matariki activities, Christmas events and community festivals.

Windsor Reserve, the waterfront and nearby parks are often used for outdoor gatherings, music and family entertainment. Devonport’s maritime heritage also features in talks, displays and commemorations.

With frequent ferry connections from central Auckland, events are accessible to visitors while retaining a strong local, village-focused character for residents and visitors.
